Listed winning filly Hooness will take on her own age and sex on Saturday in the 3yo Fillies 1200m Hcp at Caulfield Saturday. Lumped with 59kg we will take a claim of 3kg using the services of up and coming apprentice Ben Knobel. Her last start 8th in the Group 2 Yallambee Classic was soley due to the condition of the track and the way it raced on the day. Her run considering was still quite good. Weather in Melbourne this week is a dry outlook and it does look like a dry track, which she needs, will be on the cards. Since Adelaide she has had a week on a water-walker and quiet work of a pony. Her work since the freshen has been excellent and we expect a very bold showing from the filly on Saturday.
