Blueblood Excursions is the latest winner from the Jason Petch Team after demolishing his rivals in the Polytrack Maiden Plate at Mornington today (13/8/2013).
The talented son of Redoute's Choice put 'most of it' together to defeat his rivals by a very comfortable 2 and a half lengths on the Heavy 10 rated track.
Jockey Vlad Duric, who gave Excursions a peach of a ride after an early race move said that he was lucky enough to trial the horse before his first up assignment at Sale and knew exactly what he was doing on him.
"We allowed him to run free from the outside gate and not be in any trouble throughout the run. When i clicked him up his legs went everywhere so it shows that there is a fair bit of improvement in him to come".
Jason was interviewed pre-race and indicated to TVN host and respected Form Analyst Mick 'The Shark' Sharkie that he might end up with egg on his face after the race after he listed his tips with Excursions 'nowhere' to be found.
As the saying goes Mick – "You can lead a horse to water…"
