It is with great regret and sadness that we inform our loyal clients and friends that our talented gelding Kornati has not beaten his battle with laminitis and we sadly had to put him down today. Kornati was a truely lovely animal to be around. His courageous fight against this horrible disease was an inspiration and showed us how tough he really was. He was not only a kind horse, but a talented one. He won his last start by 3 lengths and was on his way to much bigger and brighter things on the racetrack. Jason, his staff and family will sincerely miss Kornati and we have honoured him by laying him to rest on a special part of our property to always remind us of him. Sincere condolences to the owners, Bruce, Allan, Serge and Anthony and we thank them very much for accepting the decision to end the pain in a professional and compassionate manner that they did.
